The Presidential Inauguration, a Celebration of American Tradition

During his acceptance speech, the President-Elect said, “This will truly be the golden age of America. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again."
On January 20, 2025, Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance will be sworn into office. Only one other time in U.S. history has there been a president who served non-consecutive terms. The first was Grover Cleveland, who served as President from 1885-1889 and again from 1893-1897.
At our next meeting, club member Ally Groh will give a presentation on the history, tradition, pomp, and circumstance of the Presidential Inauguration. The presentation will include constitutionally required and traditional elements of the ceremony, sprinkled with interesting tidbits and anecdotes of inaugurations past. With renewed hope in our hearts, RWCB looks forward to celebrating this historic victory together.
