Our October guest speaker will be Dana Blickley, Brevard County Property Appraiser, who will discuss Amendment 3, a proposed constitutional amendment appearing on Florida’s November 3 ballot. The amendment would make significant changes to property taxation in Florida, including increasing the homestead exemption for non-school property taxes and lowering the annual cap on assessment increases for non-homestead property. Dana will explain what the amendment proposes, how the changes would work, and what they could mean for Brevard County property owners and local government revenues. This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from our Property Appraiser and better understand an important issue voters will decide in November.
